On Monday, Harold Caballeros confirmed that President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad would be attending Otto Perez Molina's January inauguration. However on Tuesday, Perez said that Ahmadinijad's attendance has not yet been confirmed.

The context is that the US has placed six conditions upon Guatemala before it resumes military aid to the country. (h/t Boz)
I would hate to see a resumption of US military aid to Guatemala based upon the fear that, if we don't, somehow the Iranians would benefit. And I am really afraid that I just came up with Roger Noriega's next op-ed.
